UNIBEN admission requirements for UTME candidates 2024

Below are the requirements for UTME admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN):

• UTME Candidates must possess Five O’level credit passes including English Language at not more than two sittings in WASC,WAEC SSCE/GCE,NECO,SSCE or their recognized equivalents.
• Candidates must not be above 35 years of age.
• UTME candidates must score at least, 180 in the just concluded JAMB UTME examination to partake in UNIBEN post UTME examination.
• Candidates must make the University of Benin (UNIBEN) their first choice of institution. Second choice candidates will not be considered for admission.
• Candidates must choose the correct and official subject combination for their courses by UNIBEN. Wrong subject combination will not be allowed.
• Lastly, candidates must participate in UNIBEN post UTME screening and pass the examination excellently.

UNIBEN admission requirements for direct entry candidates

Below are the requirements for Direct entry admission into the University of Benin (UNIBEN):

• Candidates are expected to purchase and register for JAMB Direct Entry form with UNIBEN as their first choice.
• Direct entry candidates with a degree must possess a second class honours (lower division)
• Diploma holders seeking admission into Degree programmes should have at least a Merit Level Pass.
• More so, Diploma from other recognized
  Universities or OND from recognized
  Polytechnics/Colleges of Technology
  should be at least at the Upper Credit
  Level Pass.
• HND from recognized Polytechnic should be at least at the Lower Credit Level Pass.
