How many admission list does UNICAL releases every year?

Based on past precedence, UNICAL releases 3 (three) admission lists every year. They include the following: UNICAL first batch or Merit admission list, UNICAL Supplementary admission list and and UNICAL Direct Entry admission list.

Note that the university may sometimes release more than one supplementary admission list in a year. That is; first, second and even third batch supplementary admission list.

The three admission lists are not released at once anyway. Most times, UNICAL will release first batch or Merit admission list first, then Supplementary admission list will follow.

The answer is yes! The University of Calabar (UNICAL) is definitely going to release another admission list after merit list. Just like I have explained already, UNICAL releases three admission lists every year. So, after merit/First batch list, Supplementary and Direct Entry admission lists are still going to be released.

If you did not see your name in the already released admission list of UNICAL, don’t panic at all. UNICAL is still going to more admission list.

1. UNICAL Merit/First Batch Admission List

The University of Calabar (UNICAL) normally release her merit admission list in October/November of every year. This list contains the names of students that actually meet the required cutoff marks and other admission requirements of the University of Calabar. Aspirants of UNICAL can check the university’s merit list through JAMB CAPS or JAMB portal.

It is also important to note that after this admission list is released, admitted students will be required to accept their admission in JAMB CAPS instantaneously and come over to the school for final clearance.

2. UNICAL supplementary admission list

Sometimes UNICAL does not release just one supplementary admission list. The university can decide to release first, second or even their batch of supplementary admission list.

This particular admission list is for candidates that, slightly, did not meet the requirements and cutoff marks of the University of Calabar. It is usually released in October/November of every year. Last year it was released around November.

When this list is released, aspirants will have to check their admission status to know whether they have been admitted or not. Accordingly, admitted students will be required to accept their admission through JAMB CAPS and finally come over to the university to complete their clearance.

3. UNICAL Direct Entry Admission List

    I got 164 in jamb and 170 in uni cal post utme with the course to study linguistics still not yet admitted do I still stand a chance of getting admitted cause merit list is almost over ??
