In the last few months, aspirants of UNILAG flooded my email with questions regarding UNILAG admission list for the year. Majority of the questions students are asking is whether UNILAG will release another admission list after merit list.

I have decided to answer that question publicly by mentioning the admission lists that is usually released by UNILAG every year based on precedence.

How many admission lists does UNILAG release?

From previous years, the University of Lagos (UNILAG) normally release three admission lists. They include the following: UNILAG first batch or Merit List admission list, UNILAG supplementary admission list and UNILAG Direct Entry admission list.

Apparently, these admission lists are not released at once. Normally, Merit admission list will be released first then, Supplementary admission list and Direct Entry list will follow.

Unlike other universities in Nigeria, UNILAG does not usually release names of admitted students for aspirants to download and check their names. Currently, if you wish to check UNILAG admission list, you have to do that through JAMB CAPS or JAMB portal. More information about UNILAG admission lists will be given as we continue.

Will UNILAG release another admission list?

From what I have discussed so far, if UNILAG has released first batch admission list or Merit list and your name is not contained in it, do not panic because UNILAG is going to release another admission list.

Supplementary admission list and Direct Entry admission list for direct entry students are yet to be released. Sometimes, UNILAG releases more than one supplementary admission list in a year. So, you need not to panic at all.
