STAGE 1: PROFILE REGISTRATION
The first and foremost thing do if you wish to register for JAMB in 2020/2021 is to create a profile. Below are some of the things you will need to create a valid JAMB profile:
Email address: Your email could be a Gmail or Yahoo mail. This email is very important because it is the only way JAMB can contact you or provide with information like, your registration center, registration number, payment receipt etc. Also, If you want to check your result even after the examination, you might also need your valid JAMB email.
Phone number: You also need an “always active” phone number to register for your JAMB. I personally recommend that candidates should use their personal phone number during registration.
Mobile phone: Lastly, you also need a tell phone to start the registration.
Now that you know all the requirements for creating a valid JAMB profile, let’s quickly look at how to create the profile step by step.
Creation of JAMB profile:
To create your JAMB profile, kindly send your Surname, First-Name and Middle-Name (if any) to 55019 by text (SMS).

JAMB knows that some candidates will likely make mistakes during the first stage above, so they provided a tentative procedure to correct errors during JAMB profile creation.
If you made a mistake in your name or order of your name before sending it to 55019, kindly send the [CORRECT Surname First-Name Middle-Name] to 55019 as a text message from the same mobile number.
Also, if you misplaced your JAMB profile code, you can still retrieve it by sending [RESEND] to 55019 as text message from the same mobile number.
