Yes! The University of Benin (UNIBEN) has finally release her 2023/2024 school fees for all courses and departments in the institution. Students are expected to follow the instructions given in this article to pay their fees online.
Note that the University of Benin (UNIBEN) has equally released the amount to be paid as acceptance fee by all the newly admitted students of the university. Acceptance fee is a compulsory fee that every newly admitted student of the institution must pay. Candidates who fails to pay this fee will be deemed to have rejected the admission which UNIBEN offered to them.

How to Pay UNIBEN School Fees
Now that you know the amount paid as school fees in UNIBEN, it is also important that to know how to pay the fees yourself. To pay your school fees, kindly follow the steps below:
1. Login to the UNIBEN student profile with your User name/Ids and password.
2. Click on the menu button, click on “my data”, then, select the “payment” option.
3. Click on the “Add online payment ticket” button. Now, select that you want to pay for school fees.
4. Click the “create ticket” button in order to generate your Remita online.
5. A new page will appear, then, you click on the “Pay via Remita” button so as to view the details of payment. Then, you have generated your school fees invoice.
6. Now, you may choose to download (or printout) your generated invoice and pay through a bank or pay directly with a credit card.
7. It you choose to pay through the bank, then, take the generated invoice to any of the commercial banks in Nigeria and make the payment stipulated in the printout.
However, if you choose to pay with your credit card, then, make payment with the Interswitch payment gateway. You select your credit card type (That is, Mastercard or Verve) where provided. Again, enter your card details in the space provided and click on the “pay” button. Automatically, an acceptance slip will appear on the screen. Then, you have successfully paid your school fees in UNIBEN.
If you followed steps above you will be able to pay your school fees without any problem.

NOTE: The Vice Chancellor (VC) of the University of Benin, has made it public that students who fail to pay their school fees on time may not be able to use the school facilities fully. How Much is UNIBEN Acceptance fee?
UNIBEN acceptance fee for 2023/2024 is just N60,000 (Sixty thousand Naira only) generally. However, Medical students are to pay the sum of N80,000 (Eighty thousand Naira) as their acceptance fee.
New students are expected to pay the above sum of money either directly to the University of Benin (UNIBEN) or through ATM transaction.

How to Pay UNIBEN Acceptance Fee
Log in to your profile with your password and Id:
1. Click on “My Data”
2. Select the “payment” option
3. Click on the “Add online Payment ticket”
4. Click on the “create ticket” button
5. Click on the “Pay via Remita” button in order to view the details of payment
6. Click on the “submit” button so as to proceed with the payment through the inter-switch payment gateway
7. Click on the “pay” button
Once, it shows that your payment is successful, an acceptance slip will appear on the screen. Then, you have successfully paid your acceptance fee in UNIBEN.
However, ensure you Copy the “clearance activation code” that will appear on the acceptance payment slip. This payment precedes the payment for school fees. Students in UNIBEN are advised to pay the acceptance fee early in order to avoid extra charges.
