About the Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA)

The Federal University of Technology, Akure (FUTA) is one of the best universities for science and technology in Nigeria. It was founded in 1981 under a drive by the government of Nigeria to create universities that specialised in producing graduates with practical as well as theoretical knowledge of technologies.

FUTA is located in the capital city of Ondo State, Nigeria. The university has been recognized and accreditated by the Nigerian University Commission (NUC). Currently, FUTA is one of the most soughted university for students going into the field of science and technology.

This is exactly why the university is so competitive. In fact, if you do not meet up with all the requirements for admission into the university, you may not be offered admission.
