Facts about IMT
1. The current Rector of IMT is prof. Augustone Nweze. The Rector was appointed in 2016 and since then has been in charge of the institution’s affairs. In his tenure great strides have been made such as the increase in the school’s ranking from 29th to its current 7th during his tenure. He hails from Obollo in Udenu Local Government Area Enugu state.

3. According to the most recent data available, Nigeria has numerous polytechnics spread throughout its many states. Presently, the nation is home to more than 160 polytechnics. JAMB General Cutoff mark for IMT
According to the Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) the general cutoff mark for students seeking to gain admission into IMT is 120. This means that candidates who had anything below 120 in the just concluded JAMB 2024 examination may not be offered admission into IMT this session.
Nonetheless, the cutoff mark is subject to changes by the Institute of Management and Technology. In other words, the institution can decide to either increase or reduce this cutoff mark afterwards.
IMPORTANT NOTE
On a final note, it is pertinent to know that IMT cutoff is not the only requirement for admission into the school. Candidates must make sure that they meat other requirements such as; having at least, 6 credits in O’level result, particularly in the school’s post UTME screening and passing excellently.
